Mrs Wise's Trousseau

I've had this tea gown - belonging to the 1926 honeymoon of a Boston physician's wife - for a couple of years. Have never worn it, as it has a couple of marks on the bodice, and the chiffon is just a touch dry. I was pursuaded to try it on a couple of weeks ago when we were sorting through the conservation boxes for dress to take to Napier, and now the girls want it to come with us. The bandeau is original to the dress, and has the same metallic lace and velvet ribbon trims.
